Senator Folmer

June 25, 2008 – Sen. Folmer listens to testimony on his REAL ID and Biometric and Economic Privacy Act (Senate Bill 1220) during a public hearing of the Senate Communications and Technology Committee. SB 1220 would exempt Pennsylvania from having to comply with the federal REAL ID mandate, which requires states to turn their driver’s licenses into a national identification card with personal information stored in a national database.
