Mike "Citizen Mike" Folmer (R-Lebanon) will testify against the federal government's REAL ID mandate at a public hearing of the Senate Communications and Technology Committee, to be held at 9 a.m., Wed., June 25th, 2008, in Hearing Room #1 of the North Office Building. Sen. Folmer has authored legislation (SB 1220) which would
preclude Pennsylvania from having to comply with the federal REAL ID Act of
2005, an unfunded mandate requiring states to convert their driver's licenses
