Roundtable discussion: Pennsylvania Health Information Partnership Boardroom,
the Hospital
The Senate Communications & Technology Committee has held a number of hearings on the electronic sharing of health information records, other patient information, and a possible statewide network (formerly called PHIX, Pennsylvania Health Information Exchange). Broad concepts have been developed as follow up to possibly establish a Pennsylvania Health Information Partnership as an alternative to PHIX. Attached is draft legislation to move forward with such an initiative, which has been shared with various interested parties. Next, we have scheduled an informal, roundtable discussion on this draft for:
