Senate Republican Leaders Issue Statement on Commonwealth Court Orders
Senate Republican Leaders have issued this statement on the April 23 Commonwealth Court order prohibiting the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services from executing the Governor’s home health-care workers executive order.

In addition, I was forced to file a Right-to-Know request for the information the Wolf Administration shared with SEIU (Service Employees International Union). In December 2013, the teachers’ union took legal action to keep citizens from obtaining the home addresses of educators. Now in 2015, state government is giving the home addresses of home health care workers?

Peregrine Falcon Banding Live Webcast
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and Pennsylvania Game Commission will hold the Peregrine Falcon banding on Thursday, May 21 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. via the Falcon Cam button at

During the session, biologists will retrieve the newly-hatched nestlings, called eyases, from their nest and place a metal band with a falcon-specific code around each bird’s left leg. Wildlife officials and bird enthusiasts can use the band code to monitor the birds after they leave the nest. A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service band will be placed on the eyases’ right leg, registering each on a federal banding database.
