March Cable Show: Behind the Scenes Tour of the PA State Capitol Building
My March cable show is a behind the scenes tour of the Pennsylvania State Capitol Building.  From the dome and main rotunda, to the Lt. Governor's office, to the Senate Floor, and the sub-basement - "The People's House" is a beautiful and amazing building!

Congratulations to Palmyra Borough Police Officer Scott Dojka
Officer Scott Dojka, the newest officer at the Palmyra Borough Police Department, was recently awarded with the Palmyra Borough Mayorís Recognition Award for Officer of the Year for his work ethic, dedication, and interaction with the community.  In April 2015, Officer Dojka performed CPR on a known heroin user who overdosed, even though he did not have a rescue mask available to protect himself.  The person made a full recovery.  Because of these heroic actions, Officer Dojka will be honored at the American Red Cross Central PA Chapter Spirit of the Hero dinner on March 29, along with seven other individuals from surrounding counties.

Fisher Avenue Bridge Reconstruction Public Plans Review
The Fisher Avenue (SR 4020) bridge over Qureg Run in Lebanon County is scheduled for reconstruction in 2017 under PennDOTís Rapid Bridge Replacement Project.  The contractor, Plenary Walsh Keystone Partners is inviting the public to review the project plans display and provide input.  The display will be at the Union Township Municipal Building, 3111 SR 72, Jonestown, weekdays 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. through March 18. 

Mentored Youth Trout Days
The Mentored Youth Trout Days, where youth under the age of 16 can join a mentor (adult) angler who has a current fishing license and trout permit are March 26 (for the 18 southeastern counties) and April 9 (statewide) from 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.  Youth must obtain a Mentored Youth Fishing Permit or Voluntary Youth Fishing License from the PA Fish & Boat Commission, and are permitted to keep two trout, seven inches or larger.  Mentors (adults) must practice catch and release.  Find more information here.
